Seven Mysteries In 'delphi Murders' Including How Catfish Was Probed Days After Teens Found Dead On Valentine's Day

Indiana State Police have interviewed hundreds of people, including possible witnesses, suspects and anyone who may have information about suspicious activity on the day the girls went missing. Despite having a video, audio, and two sketches from potential witnesses in the area, investigators have yet to find the man responsible for their murders. An additional plea was made for help in identifying the driver of a vehicle left abandoned off the Hoosier Heartland Highway in Delphi, at the former Child Services office, between noon and 5 p.m. Police documents seen by The Sun, which are heavily redacted, do not make any mention of the Delphi case but do link him to the anthony_shots social media account. The profile, called anthony_shots, was active between 2016 and 2017 across a number of social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat, police said.

Mike Patty said he sometimes gets criticized for being so supportive of law enforcement. He admitted he gets frustrated, saying he "never thought we'd be here five years and not have resolution." The inseparable friends spent their last night alive having a sleepover at Libby's house, Becky Patty said. An undated handout photo shows Anna Williams with her daughter, Abby Williams, who was murdered in Delphi, Ind., in Feb. 2017.

Since then, no other potential suspects have been named by investigators. Libby and Abby’s deaths quickly became an unsolved mystery that was thrust into the national spotlight. They also say they now believe that the second sketch is a more accurate depiction of the suspect, although the actual suspect may likely be a mix between both sketches.

During the course of the investigation, evidence has led investigators to believe the aforementioned person is suspected of being involved in the murders of Liberty German and Abigail Williams. Investigators have released an updated voice recording and video of the suspect not previously released that was extracted from slain 14-year-old Liberty German’s cell phone. Aside from the sketches released, authorities have indicated that the killer left behind physical evidence. They have also suggested that the crime scene was odd in nature. In the years since Libby German and Abby Williams were murdered, there have been no arrests. The FBI has released a description for the suspect, which is that he is a white male between 5'6" and 5'8" tall.

The user of the “anthony_shots” profile, which was active in 2016 and 2017, “portrayed himself as being extremely wealthy and owning numerous sports cars,” police said. Investigators do have several key pieces of evidence in the murders from Delphi, including a video clip taken on Libby’s cell phone that detectives say she recorded “during possible criminal activity”. Investigators believe that the video shows the man responsible for Libby and Abby’s death. At this time no formal connection has been made between Chadwell and the murders in Delphi. Investigators have never shared any specific information about Libby and Abby’s murder and their cause of death has never been released.

Libby and Abby were both becoming the outdoors girls, learning the trails and learning the markers too, I'm sure. It was part of the family life for Libby with a grandfather who loved the woods and hunting. As we moved and meandered along, I was in the lead but I asked him, "Where to now?". My whole body shook as I immediately thought about Libby and Abby. seekers crime I looked back and found my own history of walking in the forests and along river banks, tracking game, exploring, etc. I'm almost 50 years old with my best memories made in the woods.
